Randall, Although these are called swagger sticks they were commonly referred to as short timers sticks. A lot of them were purchased by soldiers coming in from the field and close to going home. This wooden short timer stick has a figural dragon head handle with faux pearl bead eyes. The carved dragon head shows fairly nice detail and craftsmanship.
