Updating my review from 2014. Sweet Potatoes is a Winston-Salem icon. It's on most people's top 5 list of restaurants for Winston-Salem. My take is some of the dishes are overrated. The Catfish NOLA is $22 and is just okay. The fried green tomato and okra bucket (starter) is again, just okay. The bucket is $13 and is 95% okra.
